Do you have a limb condition due to diabetes, Lymphedema, broken bone, prosthesis or any other type of condition that affects the clothing you can wear? If you do we want to hear from you!

Would you like to have custom made clothing that specifically accommodates your individual condition allowing you to look and feel like all those who don’t have limb specific conditions? No more feeling self-conscious about how you look, a line of fashionable, everyday clothing products that gives you your dignity back which is so important to us all.

Now what if that clothing had the added benefit of rechargeable antimicrobial protection (and I dont mean a topical antimicrobial additive)? If you battling with a low or even no immunity system, would you feel safer knowing that the clothing your wearing is protected from germs and virus? How about your children, would you feel safer knowing that you are taking the steps you can to help protect them as well while they are in elements that you can not control like the baby sitterm day care or school?

If you answered YES to any of these questions, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!! We are working to provide these very products to you and we want to show our investors that there really is a truly need for these types of clothing products.

Please tell or pass this on to your family, friends and associates and tell us what you want and need.

Thanks and we look forward to hearing your comments and feedback!

Mike

Happy New Year and Thank You for a Great 2010!

2011 is going to be an exciting year for all of us at The Cast Clothing Co as we are planning the official launch of our Men’s and Women’s lines of Adaptive Clothing as well as the very first re-chargeable, anti-bacterial line of baby clothing and products. Our Men’s and Boy’s line is “R Marquis Men’s and Boys Custom Adaptive Fashions”. “Olivia Mychals Women’s and Junior’s Custom Adaptive Fashions” is our women’s and young ladies line and we are very excited to be able to launch the first line of re-chargeable, anti-bacterial baby clothing and products with the launch of “Baby O” by Olivia Mychals.

Although much work still needs to be done we are very excited to be able to take this next step in our growth. Our clientele range in age from infant to senior and many of these individuals have low or no immunity system due to their condition or disability and now for the first time we will be able to provide an extra line of defense that can help fight the many threatening infections that have reached or are reaching global concern. From the very beginning my goal for Cast Clothing has been to provide and fashionable everyday clothing option for the many individuals who live with limb conditions whether temporary or permanent and now we will be able to do this and have the added anti-bacterial protection to help reduce the risk of infection that can be picked up in every day settings. I have been asked if this only for those with a limb condition or who need modified clothing, absolutely not, once we are up and running with our custom clothing we will also be able to provide this same anti-bacterial to any of our custom clothing clients.

As we move forward with this I will be posting more about our progress. If in-the-mean-time you have questions, I invite you to drop me an email at Mike@CastClothingCo.com at any time.

Healthcare and Community Acquired Infections are a major issue in our society today and more work needs to be done to help protect all of us from the likes of MRSA, H1N1 and C-difficile as an example and we have been working with a major partner in the Infection Control arena who has the leading technology on the market and we are very excited to be able to take this to the next level for the millions of individuals who can benefit the most from the products we provide not only here in the United States but throughout the World.

All of us at The Cast Clothing Co wish you a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2011! I invite you to check back for updates as the year progresses and if there is ever anything we can do to help you, your family or friends, please let me know.

All the best,

Mike

MRSA, H1N1, C-difficile…by far not the only viral, bacterial or fungal infections that play a major role in how the world views, treats and works to fight infection but also among the most serious that effect our everyday lives.

Many of the individuals that we work with at Cast Clothing are already challenged, not only with the condition that affects them, but also with low or no immunity system to help to fight these and many other antibiotic-resistant infections that can only make the existing condition harder to live with. Unfortunately, unless we personally or a family member or friend picks up an infection, most of us would never think about it and how it can affect or change our lives. Sadly, it is the condition specific or disabled who are the ones that are at the front-of-the-line for being most vulnerable in catching or dealing with these often, life-changing infections

At The Cast Clothing Co we have been working to make a difference on the products that we make available to our clients that can aid in the reduction or in some cases perhaps, the elimination of some of the many types of infection that can affect us, through the inclusion of the latest technologies that are designed to fight against these silent enemies.

During this process we want to know your thoughts about such things as low immunity system and infection risk, known antimicrobial or infection prevention products that you would like to see or already know about, interest in buying products that can help to reduce or eliminate infection or whether you would even purchase items that were aimed to prevent the spread of infection if it were included in adaptive clothing or everyday clothing items providing for an extra level or protection and peace of mind.

Your thoughts, comments and concerns are always important to us and the basis of the products we provide and work to develop. So I personally invite and ask you to share with us and others who could benefit from your thoughts and input as well.

As always, I thank you for your time and help with your feedback and knowing that if we can help just one person then we have made a difference in someones life!

Mike

In a recent posting here in our blog I introduced you all to Meagan Barnard, a Senior at Superior High School in Superior, Wisconsin. Meagan has Primary Lymphedema Praecox.

This past Friday night I had a great conversation with Carol B. regarding adaptive and accessible clothing for the developmentally disabled and she provided some great feedback to me regarding the need for the products we offer and that the market just does not know we are here, and how right she is. I am really looking forward to talking to her further.

What Carol said goes back to why I started this blog, to get the word out through the organizations and individuals that either live with a condition or who help those who live with one, to let them know that even though the economy has its problems and stores and manufacturing are cutting back, one thing is for sure, that I will not stop reaching out to help as many as I can to provide them with a clothing product that meets their specific need or needs and that will allow them to dress and feel great about themselves just as those of us without a need. It’s all about dignity and feeling good about ones-self.

I am very excited about where Cast Clothing is headed, we are poised to be the first one out of the starting block when the economic woes start to clear up, and I am very optimistic that it is going to happen soon!

Thanks to all of you who spread the word about Cast Clothing and the work we are doing, I sincerely appreciate everything you are doing for us!

I have been reading various opinions about the fashion/clothing industry lately with the economy being the way it has been and the one thing I keep seeing still is that the focus is on the existing clothing lines and how to get the same people to continue to buy those products. Yet I don’t see any talk about the disabled or condition specific and clothing for them or from my standpoint, you! I want to know your thoughts, I have my opinions and thoughts (that’s why I started Cast Clothing) and I am very interested in learning yours.

I have had many people, including potential investors ask if there is really a market for the adaptive clothing products we are making. Please help me to tell them just how much of a market and need really exists.

Please tell me what you think about this.

I was talking to a client on Friday and he had asked me if what is on our website is all that we offer, a great question and worthy of comment.

The clothing you see is a basic line of clothing that we offer as we work to establish what types and styles people are looking for, if you don’t see something please ask, for example our youth section is very limited on the web store, however I can get what ever you want. That goes for every category of clothing that is available. I want you to tell me what you want to wear, I don’t ever want to tell you what you have to wear by offering limited selections.

Keep the questions and comments coming so I know how I can be of assistance to you. Thank you!

...an incredible young woman battling a disease who decided to reach out and help others in her same situation.

I have to introduce all of you to Meagan Barnard, an incredible young woman battling a disease who decided to reach out and help others in her same situation. Meagan became affected with Lymphedema during her freshman year in high school and I had the great pleasure to meet when Meagan sent me an email to point out (she was frustrated) that I didn’t have clothing for girls (and boys) her age who also live with this condition(and she was right), I tracked her down and we talked (to her parents too) and we hit it off immediately and I am very excited to have her as part of our team to help to reach out to every person who lives with Lymphedema and every other type of condtion or disability to let them you know that they do have options when it comes to everyday, fashionable clothing, especially jeans.

Take a look at Meagan’s story at the following link: http://www.northlandsnewscenter.com/news/local/37421284.html?video=YHI&t=a

Watch for Meagan to appear on the Cast Clothing website(www.castclothingco.com) with her own page where you, your kids or those you may know who live with this or any condition. You will be able to interact with her, share conversation, tips and create a social network where you can all help each other. I promise you that we are going to make this an incredible and invaluable networking avenue for everyone!

Remember for Meagan it started out with a pair of pants!
